Taima is a versatile, athletic, and coordinated male toller, of medium bone and sound temperament. He measures 19.5” at the withers and weighs 42 pounds. He has a deep red coat. He has drive and biddability. Taima especially enjoys his field work; earning his CKC and his AKC WC (Working Certificate) and his UKC SHR (Started Hunting Retriever). The CKC WC was at a difficult fall test with very few qualifiers, where the grain was high and the angle into the water was very challenging. He is an excellent marker. In Conformation he followed in his sire’s and dam’s footsteps earning amazing awards on his way to his CKC and the NSDTRC/AKC Championships with Multiple Best Puppy in Specialty Shows, and a Best Puppy in Show! Carolyn Maycock is currently training/trialing with Taima in Obedience for 2023.
