SeaTerrace is a family-based breeder of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
We breed a very limited number of litters averaging about one litter per year. We strive to breed the versatile Toller that will be a good companion as well as a successful Toller in any venue.
We will only place healthy puppies with sound temperament to approved homes. We strive to maintain the original working ability of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, conform to the Canadian Kennel Club's published standard, health test the sire and the dam of the litter with tests recommended by the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club's Code of Ethics, maintain the reputation of these clubs by treating other breeders and prospective puppy purchasers with integrity, dignity and respect, exercise truth in advertising and educate prospective puppy buyers. We also like to maintain contact with the new puppy homes, and to provide life-time support.
Our Kennel was registered with the Canadian Kennel Club in 2009, and all of our puppies are registered under that Kennel name.
We live on Vancouver Island in the Beautiful Comox Valley on a small acreage which backs onto Seal Bay Forest.
This is doggie heaven with dog oriented clubs, trainers, veterinarians and sports for the dog sports enthusiasts.
We are a very active family of 4 humans which include myself, Aldean, and Robert, Nicole and Tristan Riddy.
Both Robert and I are retired so we have the time to spend with our family which includes 'all now recently Adult Children' and the 'Family Tollers'. As the saying goes, 'dogs are not our whole lives but they make our lives whole'. The versatile duck toller can keep anyone busy.
We also have a sail boat which we enjoy; it is a 'Trailerable Motor-Sailor called the McGregor'
SeaTerrace Reg'd is a member in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club and follows the "Code of Practice for CKC Member Breeders".
Aldean Riddy and family actively participate in CKC Events and NSDTR Club of Canada Events and believe in these Club's purposes.
