Parker is a Polly son and a Jazz Grandson. Parker was born at SeaTerrace Tollers on the 18th of January, 2016, with the litter the ‘Budding Hunters’ which was out of Polly and by Burn. Parker stayed here until his owner Sarah moved to Canada when Parker was 6 months old. He was a delightful puppy, with a very sound temperament. Parker settled in very quickly to the Sarah-Parker team and Sarah’s family of two and four legged members. When Parker was 18 months old he was exported and he now lives in Canberra, Australia, with Sarah and Stuart Wheal.

Parker finished his Canadian Championship at 9 1/2 months with some lovely majors, including Best of Winners as a Junior Puppy at the 2016 CPE Classic Canadian Indigenous Breeds Specialty, and a Best Puppy in Group. Then, in 2017, he was awarded Reserve Dog Challenge and Best Intermediate by Mr. Peter Frost at the NSDTR Club of Victoria Specialty Show in Australia. He finished his Australian Championship in December 2017 after just 4 months showing. In 2018, Parker has won Best of Breed and Best Intermediate in Group at Canberra Royal, Reserve Dog Challenge at Sydney Royal and BEST OF BREED at Melbourne Royal!

His pedigree includes a Senior Hunter in his Sire, Foxgrove’s Afterburner “Burn” and a Doberstein Award winner in his Dam, Seaterrace’s Poetry in Motion “Polly”. Parker is a very agile dog with an athletic build. He is showing great potential in agility and rally obedience training and has titles in Lure Coursing and Working Pack Dog*, which involves dog and handler hiking 64km over 4 separate hikes, while the dog carries a pack weighing 30% of their body weight (average). Parker has a lovely affectionate temperament, and is a biddable dog with drive, energy and focus. He is available, in Australia, for live cover, fresh chilled or frozen semen (to approved bitches). There is limited frozen semen available in BC, Canada.

Parker is 18kg (40lb) and 48cm (19in) high at the withers. He has a nice straight front, medium bone, correct conformation, a strong head and lovely full coat.

WPD Title:
In July and August (winter) this year, Parker completed his Working Pack Dog title in state forests in the New South Wales Southern Highlands. He completed 4 hikes of 16km each, split over two weekends, for a total of 64km. Dogs attempting this title need to be fit, capable of carrying a pack that weighs 30% of their body weight. Parker completed each hike strongly and willingly with his tail wagging the whole way.
